She has a diverse background in journalism, television, radio, and social work, spanning over 15 years. Lida holds degrees from the University of La Sabana and a postgraduate qualification in television production.

Her experience as a lead Case Manager and Assistant Lead Case Manager in Houston, Texas, allowed her to support and guide the migrant population, gaining valuable insights into their needs and challenges. Currently, Lida plays a crucial role as a Community Health Worker at CREA Results, utilizing her expertise as a Health Promoter to positively impact the lives of individuals within the Latin community and other underserved populations.
