Creando Resultados

Various events throughout the year | Denver and Aurora Communities

Creando Resultados bridges equity gaps in the uniquely intertwined spaces of public and environmental health. Projects within this program increase community capacity to address the public health and environmental injustices they face.

This unique program was born out of an eight year collaboration with CREA Results, a social enterprise with a twenty year legacy of community health work in Denver. As two Latino-led grassroots organizations, we co-founded the Promotores de Salud-Community Heath Workers program in 2014, applying a model similar to community health workers to sustainability-focused initiatives. Since 2020, AFC+A has served as a fiscal sponsor for CREA Results in public health outreach that address inequities such as insurance coverage and COVID prevention. Creando Resultados sees that inequities in public and environmental health are deeply interconnected and deserve to be addressed in tandem.
